HOW AGNOS THE PURE IS BORN 

Carnaroli rice is a fine variety born in 1946 from the cross between Vialone and Lencino. The term Carnaroli can also be used to call similar varieties that do not have the same organoleptic characteristics.

This is why the term "Classico" is used to declare and protect 100% Carnaroli rice, a pure variety, at a regulatory level.

The term Classic also recalls the Greek/Latin era, in fact it means "belonging to a higher social class".

From here comes Agnos which in Greek means Pure, this is our Classic Carnaroli.
